Fragrance Family Woody Oriental
Notes Bergamot, orange, almond, raspberry, coriander, cinnamon, clove, geranium, vanilla, leather, incense, benzoin, cistus labdanum
Description Les Indes Galantes is the second fragrance in MDCI's olfactory journey around the world. The fragrance highlights the East Indies and takes its name from Jean-François Rameau's 1735 ballet héroïque of the same name. Les Indes Galantes is a gourmand through and through, opening with a sweet—almost candied—orange note, cleverly accented by almond. They are quickly joined by spicy notes of cinnamon and clove and a jammy, syrupy raspberry accord. All the while this spicy fruitiness is wrapped up in a warm haze of vanilla, cistus labdanum, benzoin and smoky leather.
