NIGHT FLOWER. Eris Parfums.
Eris Parfums is a collaboration between perfume blogger and author Barbara Herman and perfumer Antoine Lie. Herman has made a career of writing about long-forgotten vintage fragrance and Lie is known for his subversive, boundary-pushing compositions. The reult of their collaboration is three stellar fragrances, vintage in style and modern in execution. Night Flower is a smoky, leathery oriental—a perfect scent for a cool October evening. Eau de Parfum.
OR DU SÉRAIL. Naomi Goodsir.
Or du Sérail is a Bertrand Duchaufour masterwork—honeyed tobacco, stewed fruits, dry woods and resins. The aroma of high-quality pipe tobacco with a tropical, boozy twist. Eau de Parfum.
RUSSIAN TEA. Masque Milano.
The road from China to Russia is long a treacherous. Camel caravans used to transport tea from China to Russia. Each night, the merchants would light fires to keep warm. These same fires imbued the tea with its characteristic smoky aroma. Eau de Parfum.
